Golfsport industry in Germany

German Golf Association (DGV) adopted or called the new approach to golf industry in Germany, built on three fundamentals:

Sports, support and profit.
This encourages collaboration between marketplayers while maintaining the autonomy and strength of each club; by providing support DGV
in areas where the club could not - or will not - be
involved.

The new approach is called the result of extensive consultations and place more responsibility on owners and operators in Germany almost 700 clubs to develop what is now fragmented by the golf market.

The number of people who play golf in Germany reached a new
peak in late 2007 with around 550,000 players
both members of the golf club or Vereinigung Clubfreier Golfspieler
(VCG). Sector has experienced a long-term sustainable
growth trends.
