BATAM, BN: After reportedly Indonesian Traditional Fishermen's Association (PTNI), PT Marco Polo Shipyard, finally dihearing Commission I DPRD Batam, on Wednesday (1 / 9) yesterday. Simon, Director of Marcopolo who attended the hearing, denied the accusations. Simon confirmed that the company never did that dredging can damage marine life. Meanwhile, Syafrizal, Head of Batam City Law Enforcement Bappedalda, firm said it was never issued a dredging permit to PT Marcopolo. "We'll see whether or not dredging," he said.

As a conclusion of the meeting, Basri Aaron, confirmed the Commission I DPRD Batam will form joint investigative teams on the alleged damage resulting dredging the coral reef.
